NC State’s Engineers’ Week is coming up March 12-16th! Engineers’ Week, also known as E-Week, is a national event to celebrate engineers through design competitions, networking nights, and fun games and activities. Check out all the events below!
Monday 12
Boat Design Day at Carmichael Pool from 6-8PM where teams will compete to build a floating boat out of cardboard that makes it 1 length down the pool. Come prepared to get wet!
Tuesday 13
Disc Golf at Lake Raleigh Park from 11:00AM – 1:00PM. Come hang out with friends while playing disc golf and eating Popsicles. Disc will be provided.
Networking Night in Talley Student Union Piedmont Ballroom from 6:00-8:00 PM. A panel of professionals will be in attendance to discuss working in industry.
Wednesday 14
Pi Day with Theta Tau. Visit their website for more information.
Trivia Night: Are You Smarter Than Your Professor? Come compete against your professors to determine who is the smartest! Located in Mann Hall room 304 from 7-9 PM.
Thursday 15
Putt-Putt on the Green Located on the Oval Greens from 11:00 AM -1:00 PM. Drop in, pick up some popcorn and lemonade!
Dodgeball in the Racquetball Courts in Carmichael Gym at 7:30PM. This will be tournament team style!
Friday 16
Semi-Formal located at the University Club on Hillsborough Street at 8:00 PM. Tickets cost $5 and can be purchased here.
